Meet Dr. Eugenio Mannucci

Dr. Eugenio Mannucci is the founder and lead veterinarian at 509 Equine Veterinary Services. He brings a broad skill set and a grounded, practical approach to equine care—shaped by years of hands-on experience in both high-performance and general practice settings.

Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Dr. Mannucci moved to the United States in 2009 on an athletic scholarship to the University of Idaho. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary focus, then went on to attend Oregon State University, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.

Following graduation, Dr. Mannucci began his career at Outlaw Equine in Decatur, Texas—one of the country’s busiest and most respected performance horse clinics. He later returned to the Pacific Northwest, practicing in Eastern Oregon and at Oakhurst Equine in Newberg, Oregon.

Through this diverse experience, Dr. Mannucci has developed a focused and efficient approach to equine medicine. His professional interests include:

• Emergency medicine

• Routine and advanced dentistry
